The websites should be chinese-english learning. For example, there could be a chinese word, then the english word after it, then the definition of the word. It does not have to be chinese-english, but it is preferred.

looked up so that I can go back to them later. Babylon doesn’t save words but keeps a list of the most recent looked up ones. The problem though is that the list has a very limited capacity (around 20 words I guess). Do you know of any software that can help me?

Example:

If a child was to attain a preschool education, they will be able be able to learn a little bit about letter, numbers, etc before entering kindergarten. Essentially, they will be better prepared before they enter kindergarten.

The reason I asking is because that sentence above will be part of my thesis and I want to shorten it a little. I want to replace “letters, numbers, etc” with another word…..

can somebody help me out here??

These are three words that any kindergartener knows, and anyone learning English will learn them on their very first day… but they are very strangely spelled based on their pronunciation!

They are:

One, Two, and Four.

I don’t know any other word in which you get the “W” sound from an “O” and is “one”
I also don’t know any other word that has a silent “W” as in “two”.

Finally, i can’t really think of any other word where ou is pronounced as “O” as in “four” unless it also has a gh.

Do these odd pronunciations on such basic words confuse new learners?
